About Coach Titus
Coach Paxton Titus is a certified Personal Trainer through Westside Barbell and has been working in athletic coaching for the past decade. A founding member of his High School Track and Field team, Paxton became a State Champion in both Shot Put and Discus. His passion for these events and love of coaching grew from working with throwing legends like World Champion Ryan Whiting, 2012 Olympian Stephen Saenz, and University of Michigan Shot Put Record Holder Cody Riffle.
In college, Coach Titus was mentored at Ashland University by the late, great Jud Logan, a 4x Olympian and former U.S. Record Holder in the men’s Hammer throw. It was through Coach Logan that Paxton was introduced to the world-renowned Strength Coach Louie Simmons of Westside Barbell. Louie introduced Soviet-inspired training methodology to Paxton and became a major influence in his coaching career.

Post-collegiately, Paxton turned his personal athletic efforts to the world of submission grappling (Jiu Jitsu) and is a heavyweight competitor, having trained under World Champion Tom DeBlass, as well as the head developer of Ecological grappling, Greg Souders. Most recently, Paxton has helped develop National Medalists and Record Holders in youth Powerlifting (IPF, IPA, and RPS federations) while working in the private school sector at Donovan Catholic, where he also helped strength train the Wrestling, Football, and Track programs.
Now, Coach Titus’s efforts are focused solely on the development of his gym, Dynamo Training Hall, and the progress of his athletes.
Parent and Athlete testimonials

I have had the pleasure of both training with Paxton Titus and having my daughter work with him as her strength coach. My daughter credits many of her accomplishments to the small, impactful lessons Paxton instilled in her. What I admire most, and why I would strongly recommend him, is his willingness to learn and grow. I’ve seen him travel across the country to train with legends of the sport, and I have no doubt that he will one day take his place among them.

During my time training with Paxton his knowledge of training and athletic performance added many new elements to the way I thought about lifting. In addition to this, Paxton's constant motivation and desire for improvement exponentially helped the Powerlifting team mentally and physically allowing us to preform our best.

Paxton has always pushed me to become a stronger and better athlete. He coached me using the Westside conjugate method and helped me to compete at the national level. He is a very caring and professional individual.
